"BABY GIRL"
12X12X1.5 INCHES | 1/4" MODERN BIRCH FRAME

A nine-month-old baby girl died in the spring of 2015 in Winnipeg, and her mother alleges that her then-live-in boyfriend is responsible for the death. CBC News is not revealing the family’s identity because the victim in this case was a minor and the family had an active file with a social service agency. The mother says her boyfriend was the last person to see her daughter alive. The child’s grandmother has expressed frustration with the police investigation, saying a medical examiner’s report into the baby’s death raises more questions than answers.
